DIVA, the museum of diamonds, jewels and the goldsmith’s trade in the heart of Antwerpen, attracted some 5,000 visitors for its opening weekend. During the weekend, the world record for the largest diamond cut was beaten.
The successor museum to the provincial museum of diamonds and the goldsmith’s museum in Deurne, DIVA is showing some 600 objects ranging from diamonds and jewels to works of art. It also comprises a documentation centre, a temporary exhibition space and a shop described as “exceptional” by a jeweller.
