Michel says Liège victims should be entitled to government support
For Michel, tailored support is key in assisting the Liège victims.

The Belgian cabinet acknowledges that the victims of the killings in Liège are entitled to national government support, such as is claimed by victims of terrorism. The Prime Minister, Charles Michel, indicated the government’s view on Thursday, when speaking in parliament.

The Prime Minister insisted upon the need for support tailored to victims, one of the lessons learned from the attacks on March 22nd, 2016.

He added, “The government will make every effort to learn lessons from previous tragedies, when dealing with the aftermath of such incidents.”
