African swine fever - judicial inquiry opened

On Friday, the Luxemburg Prosecutor’s office said they have forwarded a case to an Instruction judge after African swine fever was discovered in the Etalle region. This confirms information provided by the Sudpresse group.

The Prosecutor’s office opened a case after boar carcasses carrying the virus were found. An instruction judge was nominated to check for any possible infractions in the case.

Three complaints about “X” were quickly submitted after the bodies were found. They are from Apaq-W (at the request of the Walloon Agriculture, Nature and Forest minister), the Producers College and the Belgian Royal Saint-Hubert Club.
