The Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM) forecasts mild weather, with heavy to medium cloud cover, but also sunny periods, and highs between 11 and 13°C in the Ardennes and 14 to 16°C elsewhere. The southeast wind will be mostly light, but sometimes moderate on the coast and in the Ardennes high plateaux. The sky will remain partly cloudy with high and moderate cloud banks this evening and tonight, lows of 5 to 10°C, and a weak to moderate wind coming in from the south to the southeast.
The sun will be back on Tuesday, covered at times by heavy or moderate cloud banks. Highs will range from 15 to 17°C in the Ardennes and from 17 to 19°C in other areas, while there will be a slight to moderate wind from south to southeast. The night will also be calm with lows from 4 to 9°C.
On Wednesday, the clouds will gradually return from the west. A largely inactive rainfall band will reach the coastal area by midday before shifting eastward in the afternoon. Highs will be around 11°C on the Ardennes high plateaux and 16°C in Kempen (Campine). The south wind will be moderate, and even strong at times.
