The warmest November 6th on record: 18.2 degrees Celsius recorded in Uccle today

With a temperature of 18.2 degrees Celsius, today is the warmest November 6th ever recorded in Uccle since 1901. The latter year is the date of the first recordings carried out by the Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI).

David Dehenauw, the meteorologist, tweeted earlier today, “It is already 18.2 degrees in Uccle, a new record for this date; definite temperature values will only be known this afternoon.”

The previous record goes back to November 6th, 1955, when 17.6 degrees Celsius was recorded.
