Two elderly people aged 70 and 72 were found dead in their house in Philippeville, several papers reported on Friday. The Namur Marc Servais Prosecutor’s office have confirmed the incident. Investigators say the man apparently killed his wife before hanging himself in the garage.
According to the sources, the couple’s nephews became concerned when they stopped getting in touch.
The Namur-Dinant Prosecutor’s office, an instruction judge and federal police inspected the crime scene on Friday afternoon.
The autopsy on the woman’s body was done on Saturday.
