There will be widespread cloud cover, with few or no clear spells and a final drop of rain possible in places on Friday afternoon, said the IRM (Royal Meteorological Institute) at midday on Friday. Maximum temperatures will vary between 5°C and 9°C with a moderate west to north-westerly wind. On Friday evening and throughout the night, the weather will generally stay dry but still very cloudy. Winds will be moderate south to south westerly. Temperatures will be between 4°C and 6°C.

Saturday will bring a degree of showery weather over Belgium from the coast towards the Ardennes. There will be a mix of clear spells and very cloudy spells, accompanied here and there by light showers. Maximum temperatures will vary between 8°C in the slopes of the Ardennes and 13°C in Flanders with a moderate wind. There will be fairly strong south to south-westerly winds at the coast.

During the night from Saturday through to Sunday, the south-westerly wind will increase becoming fairly strong locally inland, and strong at the coast. The sky will be mostly cloudy with some rain or showers expected. Minimum temperatures will fluctuate between 4°C and 9°C.

Expect windy weather on Sunday, with often very cloudy skies accompanied by periods of rain. Maximum temperatures are set to vary between 8°C and 14°C, with a moderate fairly strong south to south-westerly wind. Storms could reach 65 km/h.

An active rain belt will cross the country on Monday from west to east. It will also be very windy. Storms will reach 90 km/h, indeed slightly more in the early morning. Maximum temperatures are expected to hover between 5°C and 9°C.
