Charleroi Airport: Individual arrested with 77 cocaine capsules in stomach

Three people were arrested in early April at Charleroi airport for drug trafficking, according to local news.

Two of them had ingested over 70 capsules of cocaine, the equivalent per person of 25,000 euros of narcotics, in order to transport it, reported RTL Info.

They were caught during police and customs checks.

One of them carried 77 capsules containing cocaine in his stomach, the other 74. A third man carried in a suitcase with 6 kg of cocaine and 2 kg of heroin worth 246,000 euros.

The arrests took place at the beginning of the month.

A few days ago, the chamber of the council of Charleroi confirmed the warrant of arrest of the three drug couriers, reports RTL Info.
