The E313 motorway in Herentals-West in the direction of Antwerp has been completely closed because of an accident in which a truck drove into a line of cars.
The crash involved six vehicles, including two trucks. At least three people were injured, according to the federal police. One victim's life is in danger, the second is seriously injured and the third one only sustained minor injuries, reports Het Nieuwsblad.
The fire services were called on site to clean up the damage after the incident. However, a photogrammetry team has also been called on to map everything due of the seriousness of the collision. "We are expecting the hindrance to continue until around noon," said Peter Bruyninckx from the Traffic Centre.
