A man in his fifties was killed in an accident in the Craeybeckx tunnel in Antwerp on Saturday afternoon.
Federal police said the accident happened on the E19 heading towards Brussels.
The victim crashed into the wall of the tunnel at around 3pm. The cause of the accident is not yet known. The victim succumbed to his injuries after being taken to hospital in a critical condition. No other vehicle was involved in the accident.
