Since 6 am Saturday morning, there are no trains on the Louvain-Liège high-speed line because of a cable theft between Leuven and Hoegaarden, the network manager Infrabel indicated. Traffic between the two cities is only through conventional railway lines.

"Our technical teams are hard at work, but we do not know just how long it will take to get everything in order," an Infrabel spokesperson said.

For the time being, this situation has caused 5 to 10-minute delays.
