783 pupils still have no secondary school

On the 1st of June, 783 pupils are still on the waiting lists for a secondary school place, La Libre Belgique said on Tuesday. That’s more than June 2014 (766). Out of these 783 children, 624 (compared to 595 at the end of May 2014) want a place in a Brussels school. 38 (51) want places in Walloon Brabant schools, and 121 (120) want places in schools in Wallonia (excluding Walloon Brabant), according to the paper. 123 schools have waiting lists: 66 are in Brussels, 15 in Walloon Brabant and 42 in Wallonia.
