Following general assemblies organized by public transport workers on Friday, « the majority of picket lines have been lifted », the Walloon regional transport company announced on Friday evening.
The company, which operates public transport companies,TEC, in Wallonia, said workers at the TEC in Namur-Luxembourg, Brabant wallon and Liège-Verviers had decided to return to work.
In Hainaut, the picket lines are to be lifted in La Louvière, but not in Mons-Bassins, Tournai and Eugies.
The picket lines at the public transport company in Charleroi have also been maintained, the company said.
Public transport in Wallonia has been hit by strike since Tuesday, a day of action in the public service. (Belga)
