A 19-year-old man allegedly planning to attack BNB (National Bank of Belgium) was issued an arrest warrant and charged for attempted home invasion and criminal conspiracy. His 2 alleged accomplices, aged 19 and 20, were also remanded in custody and charged on the same grounds, indicated Brussels Public Prosecutor's office.
During an investigation on an attempted break-in in Laeken on February 4th, 2015, a 5-page hand-written document relating to an attack at the National Bank was discovered at the main suspect’s home. The suspect claims the idea was a joke.
