An investigating judge has been chosen by the Prosecutor’s office for a case involving Alain Courtois (Reformist Movement), first councilor for Brussels. The judge will look into his activities with the Irisport association, La Dernière Heure reported on Wednesday. “After talking to the investigating judge, I can confirm that this case is being investigated. In the interests of the investigation, and in respect of the presumption of innocence, no other details will be released”, the Prosecutor’s office spokesman said.
Alain Courtois is suspected of breaking the law on public markets and illegally obtaining subsidies while managing the Irisport association.
