A man killed his ex-wife with an axe in Geraardsbergen, in Eastern Flanders, on Wednesday evening. The Laaste Nieuws reported on the story on its website. Neither the police nor the Prosecutor’s office have yet confirmed the incident. According to Het Laaste Nieuws, a neighbour and a child were also seriously injured during the attack, which took place at around 6pm. The paper says suspect has been arrested.
The Oudenarde division of the Eastern Flanders Prosecutor’s office has chosen not to comment yet.
