Body of dismembered ULB student: confirmation of second suspect behind bars

This Thursday, the Brussels Council Chamber confirmed that an arrest warrant has been issued against Denis N., the second suspect in the investigation into the death of Xhuliano B., revealed Ms. Linsay Schoukens, counsel for Denis N., who states it is as yet far too early for further comment on the case. The body of Xhuliano B., a student at ULB (Free University of Brussels), was found, dismembered, in a field between Jette and Wemmel, on June 9th. He was identified thanks to a tattoo on his torso.

Vincent D.B., a friend of the victim, was charged on June 25th. The second suspect, Denis N., left for Macedonia after the facts. He gave himself up to the police upon his return early last week.

The investigation showed that Xhuliano B., Denis N., and Vincent D.B. were known for selling cannabis. There is so far no indication of a link between this trade and the murder. Circumstances are not clear either. The first elements implied that the 3 friends spent part of the weekend together in a flat in Koekelberg. Vincent D.B. recently said that Denis N. killed Xhuliano B. after an argument escalated into a fight, but that he had not witnessed the facts. A saw was mentioned as possible tool for the dismemberment.
