Jean Lambrecks may have new leads in Dutroux case

The counsel representing Eefie’s father, Jean Lambecks, has submitted a file to the Limburg prosecutors, requesting an investigation be opened regarding new leads in the Dutroux case, reveal Het Belang van Limburg and De Standaard. After the verdict at the Assize court in Arlon – life for Dutroux, 30 years for his former wife Michelle Martin, and 25 years for his accomplice Michel Lelievre – Jean Lambrecks had even more questions to ask and he has been conducting his own investigations for years.

With his partner, and his Brussels attorney Philippe Vanlangendonck, he is also getting help from a retired gangster who has been collaborating with the police for 25 years. They are following a new lead together and avenues apparently not yet looked into. Several written records mention the same vehicle for example.
