Two teenagers arrested for a brutal break-in at a ninety year old’s house in Ghent

Two teenagers aged 15 and 16 were arrested after a violent break-in at a ninety year old’s house in Ghent. A third suspect, a 22 year old man, was placed under arrest, the Ghent section of the Eastern Flanders Prosecutor’s office said on Friday.

The incident happened on the 3rd of November. The woman, aged 92, was attacked and her home was burgled. The Prosecutor’s office put out a description last week, which led to the suspects being identified.

The three individuals are all from the Ghent region. The minors were sent before a youth judge and placed in a penitentiary institution. The third suspect was placed under arrest, the Council chamber confirmed on Friday.
