A French dealer arrested on the Maastricht-Liège train

A French ex-pat who was born in 1977 was arrested on the Maastricht-Liège train on Sunday afternoon, the Liège Prosecutor’s office has said. When searched, he was found to be in possession of a large quantity of drugs.

The suspect had 195 ecstasy pills, around 1.3 kilos of amphetamines, 12 grams of cocaine and 13 grams of heroin on him when he was arrested.

Officers also found three mobile phones and money in small bills on his person.

The individual was taken into custody and will appear before the Liège Prosecutor’s office on Monday.
