“When I heard this testimony, I felt like throwing up,” declared the accused party following the hearing Wednesday. The statement was made in relation to the testimony of Oswald D., lover of Véronique Pirotton.
“I could not conceive this kind of inordinate harassment of my wife.”
“I did not imagine that in Liege there was a man who on a daily basis sought the separation of my wife and I, and who constantly wrote absurdities regarding me,” he added. “What I heard was abominable.”
Thursday’s proceedings will centre on the testimony of witnesses of morality.
