Salah Abdeslam’s older brother is arrested in connection with the theft of the Molenbeek money

The older brother of Salah Abdeslam was arrested at the weekend. He is suspected of being involved in the theft of 70,000 euros, which was being transported to the bank by employees of the Molenbeek-Saint-Jean commune on the 23rd of January. It was reported by La Dernière Heure and the Sudpresse papers on Saturday.

According to La Dernière Heure, Mohamed Abdeslam was placed under arrest on Friday as part of the investigation into the theft of communal money, along with another suspect. He is currently in custody.

Mohamed Abdeslam is a former employee at the Molenbeek communal services, but he was fired recently.
