    Violent score settling among addicts in Dinant

    A violent settling of scores between seven persons from the addict milieu, took place Saturday night around 7:30 p.m. in Dinant, Namur prosecutors said Sunday. A teenage girl (born in 2002) is suspected to be the cause of this retaliation when six people turned up at the home of a seventh. These individuals were armed with a 30-centimeter knife, a toy gun and a jack. During the exchange of blows that ensued, the victim defended herself with a hammer, throwing it in the face of one of her attackers. The latter was hospitalized.

    Among the protagonists, three were arrested, whereas three others are still on the run. The case has been referred to a judge. The charges are attempted homicide, assault, home invasion, and use of prohibited weapons.
