The online investment bank BinckBank made a net profit of 57,5 million euros in 2014 it announced on Monday, an increase of 4% compared to the 55.2 million the year before. In just the fourth trimester, the Dutch bank made a net profit of 12.7 million euros, slightly less than the 22.7 million in the last trimester of 2013.
In Belgium, the number of BinckBank transactions went up by 6%, going from 786,181 in 2013 to 833,726 in 2014. The number of investment accounts has gone up by 6% compared to 2013 to reach 59,940 at the end of 2014. The capital administered reached 1,9 billion at the end of 2014, up 11% for the same period the year before.
