The Brussels start-up Take Eat Easy, which offers restaurant meals via bicycle couriers throughout the capital, has raised 6 million euros and is looking at new markets, L’Echo and La Libre Belgique said on Wednesday. Its investors are Rocket International, Piton Capital and DN Capital. Take Eat Easy, which has been operating in Brussels since 2013 and Paris since 2014, is now looking at Berlin, Madrid, and London.
The company’s staff will go from 20 to 50 people between now and the end of the year. “We will mainly increase the number of restaurant staff, but we will also add to the professional freelance courier team”.
