The Discover Businesses operation has been put in place, in collaboration with the Forum and Walloon Union of Businesses. Some of the companies taking part in the operation will also open their doors to work experience candidates from the 15th of June, the organisers said in a press release. This new initiative has been named “Back Stage”. “We have multiple contacts within the Business world. Some of them are looking for new collaborators. We have therefore invited them to open their doors to work experience candidates, from the month of June”, explains Adeline Jouret, manager at DBD.
The Walloon Union of Businesses has decided to take part in the 2015 Discover Businesses Day (DBD), which will take place on the 4th of October. It also supports the “Back Stage” operation. “There are never too many initiatives for getting to know businesses. The DBD has amply demonstrated that it is a top association for this sort of operation, shown by the way it has spread over the whole of Belgium and the diversity of the businesses taking part”, says Vincent Reuter, UWE administrative delegate. “We support this Back Stage operation 100%, there is a big need for it”, he added.
The work experience placements last 15 days. The first offers are available on the website www.jde.be. Those interested can send their application via www.jde.be/backstage.
