Take Eat Easy, a Brussels start-up specialising in home delivery meals, raised an additional 10 million euros from its shareholders, after a first capital injection of 5 million euros in April, reports L’Echo on Tuesday. Take Eat Easy was launched in September 2013 and uses couriers on bicycles to deliver meals. The start-up company takes a 30% commission on each order brought to the restaurant and a 3.50-euro share of the delivery fee, and is now active in half a dozen European cities.
The aim of this second fundraising effort is to quickly move into other cities.
