The chain of supermarkets Lidl made a statement on Tuesday, recalling a product from their Dutch supplier Solina Netherlands BV. It found the “microbiological anomalies” in packages of 570 ml of crayfish bisque from the brand “Delicious”, sold at Lidl Belgium. “The supplier – Lidl – cannot exclude any risk for the health of their Belgian customers and therefore asks them not to consume the purchased items, but to bring them back to the Lidl store of their choice”, the statement said.
The products concerned, which have been withdrawn from sale are the bags “Delicious crayfish bisque, 570ml” with the bar code “2059 7665” – regardless of the date consumption limit.
Customers can obtain reimbursement from Lidl.
