AB InBev teams up with Starbucks on new line of iced teas

The Starbucks coffee-house chain and AB InBev Brewery have joined forces to produce a new line of iced teas to be launched next year on the U.S. market.
Starbucks, which has been selling teas since its creation in 1971, acquired the Teavana chain of teahouses in 2012 for 620 million dollars, and the new line of teas will be marketed under the Teavana label. The association with AB InBev should allow for production, bottling and distribution in the USA.

According to the association for the promotion of U.S. tea, iced teas represent 80% of all tea consumed in the United States. (Belga)
