The deadline for the presentation of tax declarations by agents is set for next Thursday, October 27th. With seven days to go, close to 700,000 of these declarations have already been submitted to the administration, a proportion identical to that of last year, declared Thursday the Finance SPF.
Taxpayers who do not comply with the established deadlines, even after having received a reminder letter, are subject to administrative fines which range from 50 to 1,250 euros, to an increase in taxes from 10 to 200% on undeclared income, and even to automatic taxation. Last year, 87,625 fines were imposed.
