Belgium's first Burger King to open on 28 June in Antwerp

The Kingdom's first Burger King fast food outlet will open on Wednesday, 28 June at the Kinepolis cinema site in Antwerp, where it will replace a Quick restaurant.

Wallonia will follow very soon after: a Burger King is expected at the beginning of July in the Rive Gauche commercial centre in Charleroi, and another one will open at the end of the summer holidays in Namur. The latter site is already used as a training centre for "Burger King methods".

In total, eight new Burger King outlets are planned for 2017, in addition to the passing of ownership of an unknown number of current Quick franchises. The cost of a conversion: between 700,000 and 1.2 million euros per restaurant.
