Huawei hosted earlier this week their annual Innovation Day conference in Munich, with two days of presentations, panels and discussions. Attendees included clients, partners and media representatives. In its third edition, this year saw speakers from Huawei’s management as well as customers, industry experts and partners of Huawei.
The event was kicked off on Monday 15 June, with a keynote speech by William Xu, Chief Strategy Marketing officer at Huawei, during which he emphasized Huawei’s dedication to the European market and continued focus and investment in R&D.
Huawei already has a track record of over 15 years in the European market, and their presence now includes several innovation and R&D centers across Europe, in addition to partnerships with leading companies from a wide range of industries.
Other notable highlights included speakers from Digital Europe and the Bavarian State office who emphasized the importance of technology in forming competitive advantages as well as improving and expanding a larger and more efficient market in Europe under a digital single market. It was also hinted that Munich will become one of the first cities in Europe where the 5G network will be implemented.
