Moscow hopes its relation with the EU has not reached “the point of no return”

Russia hopes that its relations with the EU has not reached a point of “no return” due to the crisis in Ukraine, the Russian Foreign Affairs minister Serguei Lavrov declared on Tuesday, when the EU declared new sanctions on Ukrainian separatists supported by Moscow. “We hope that “the point of no return” has not been reached”, Mr Lavrov said. He was quoted by the official Russian agency Tass during a meeting in Minsk, the capital of Belorussia.

The head of Russia diplomacy has called for “dialogue with all regions of the Ukraine” which must respect the Minsk ceasefire agreement.
