The Euro 2016 qualifying game between Belgium and Wales on Friday was watched live by 958,249 people on the La Une channel, 55.5% of viewers according to RTBF (French-speaking Belgian radio and television broadcasting organisation) on Monday. 1,599,564 Flemish speakers (66.5% of viewers) watched it live on VRT (Flemish-speaking public service broadcaster) reveals the Flemish channel. A total of 2.557 million people therefore watched live as the Diables lost in Cardiff 1-0. RTBF adds that the live programme preceding the match was watched by 571,993 viewers (39.8% of viewers). VRT calls this good viewing data, similar to figures reached for the previous qualifying matches played by the national team.
