The Belgian national football team, “The Red Devils”, have maintained their 1st place on the FIFA world ranking, released on Thursday. Belgium has 1494 points, before Argentina (1455 points) and on third place Spain (1370 points). Due to a calm international period no changes have been made to the top 10 list.
Belgium gained first place on 5 November last year, following their victory against Israel. Since then they have only played once, which was a win (3-1) against Italy in a friendly game. The planned game against Spain was cancelled (13 November) due to security concerns.
