Basic-Fit in peak form in first half of 2018

The Dutch chain of fitness clubs, Basic-Fit, achieved good results in the first half of this year and followed up its growth by opening 44 new clubs. It grossed 189.6 million euros, while its total operating surplus amounted to 56.3 million euros, a 30% increase; profits for the semester totalled 6.1 million euros.

In the first six months of the year, the sports-hall chain opened 44 new fitness clubs; it aims to increase that number to 100 by the end of 2018.

Basic-Fit has pursued its implantation in France, where it has opened 40 new fitness clubs.

Basic-Fit has a total of 565 clubs in the Benelux, France and Spain.
