French police forces have raided 1,233 premises, questioned 165 people and seized 230 weapons since the introduction of the state of emergency following the Paris attacks, revealed French Home Secretary Bernard Cazeneuve on Tuesday. Almost half the weapons seized “are long guns and war weapons,” he explained, which he thinks shows “how useful” the raids were. The state of emergency, implemented on November 14th, the day after the attacks in Paris, is due to run until the end of February next year.
