The Red Devil Michy Batshuayi has left the football team Olympique de Marseille join Chelsea. Both clubs announced this on Sunday. The 22-year old attacker has signed a five-year contract with the London team.

“I'm delighted to sign for one of the largest clubs in Europe and to attack a new chapter of my career,” stated Batshuayi. “I hope I can thus help Chelsea to scoop numerous trophies during my time at Stamford Bridge,” he added.

Bought for 6.5 millions euros from R. Standard de Liège (“The Reds”), two years ago, Michy Batshuayi has made his mark in Marseilles. This season he has scored 23 goals and made ten assists across all competitions (17 goals being at championship level). From now on, he will join “The Blues”, four years after Eden Hazard's transfer, and will play out next season in the Premier League under Antonio Conte, the Italian expert.

He will also join the goalkeeper for the Red Devils, who is Thibaut Courtois. The Belgian attacker formed part of the Red Devils team for the Euros. They were eliminated by Wales during Friday's quarter final. Batshuayi scored the second goal against Hungary, during the last sixteen stage of the competition.
