The Belgian jazz musician, Toots Thielemans, who died yesterday morning (Monday) at the age of 94, was also honoured in London yesterday evening. The Netherlands-based Metropole Orkest (the jazz and pop orchestra) and Quincy Jones, the American trumpet player and composer, played in the deceased jazz musician's honour at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Quincy Jones, aged 83 years, indicated on Twitter that he was appearing for Toots Thielemans at the event.
