NATO: relations with Russia at most “difficult” since Cold War
Stoltenberg stated, “We should engage in political dialogue with Russia, in an attempt to avoid increased tensions.”

Relations between NATO and Russia have “never been as difficult” since the end of the Cold War. Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of the Atlantic Alliance, stated this during an interview on the American channel CNN yesterday.

He also stated, “We should engage in political dialogue with Russia, in an attempt to avoid increased tensions.”

This came a few hours after the American President, Donald Trump, tweeted that relations between Washington and Moscow were “at an all-time historic low and indeed very dangerous.”
