Authorities have asked more than 5.6 million people to evacuate in Florida as Hurricane Irma approaches. It has once again been upgraded to a category 5 storm, according to the director of emergency operations.

After killing nineteen people during its passage over the Caribbean, Irma hit Cuba late on Friday. It is expected to hit Florida via Florida Keys on Saturday.
