On Thursday, British police said they were looking into the possible murders of three boys by a pedophile ring. It implicates political figures and public institutions from the 80s and 90s. One presumed victim of sexual abuse, identified as Nick, accused MPs and other powerful figures of being linked to the murders of three boys, aged between 7 and 16. They happened between the mid-70s and mid-80s.
One of the boys was run over by a car being driven by one of the people concerned, according to his statement.
“My team is looking into the possible murders of three young boys. Our work is still in progress and we are examining the files of people who went missing at that time”, said Kenny McDonald, the police officer supervising the inquest. “We have not yet found a body”, he said.
In a “heartbreaking statement”, Nick told investigators how he and several other boys were driven to different addresses in London and on the outskirts of the British capital, including military bases, where they were sexually abused by groups of men.
Nick also confirmed he was sexually abused between the ages of 7 and 16 in a cozy apartment in the Pimlico area (south-east of London) where numerous politicians live.
Police appealed to other children, today grown up, who were victims of abuse at the same place to come forward.
In the summer, the press revealed that 114 files on cases of child sexual abuse from between 1979 and 1999 had disappeared. This was confirmed by ministers. One of the files showed MPs and other powerful figures were implicated in a pedophile ring.
The British Prime Minister David Cameron promised “to uncover everything” and “use all means available to find out what happened”.
