Algeria will put the man suspected of a murder in the Brussels metro on trial

The suspect in a murder at the Brussels metro Rogier station will go on trial in Algeria. The main suspect, Amine Dahache, 22, will appear before the Criminal Tribunal of the Alger court for the murder of Arthur Rifa (35) on the 20th of May 2013, La Dernière Heure reported on Wednesday. Algeria has refused to extradite the suspect, Amine Dahache, which Belgium has strongly criticised. The Brussels metro murder will be investigated by two courts: the Brussels Indictment department will summon two Algerians, aged 21 and 23, before the Brussels Assizes court for the same crime. They were on the platform with Mr Dahache when the murder took place. One of the men has been arrested, the other is on the run.
