Ronquières Festival to celebrate its 10th anniversary this weekend

The Ronquières Festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary over three days this weekend, rather than the traditional two.

The festival, which takes place in Braine-le-Comte in Wallonia, has attracted 250,000 festival-goers since its inception. It has followed the current trend of expanding to a three-day event instead of two. It

The event, which returned last year for the first time since the start of the pandemic, is slated to take place on top of the iconic 'Sloping Lock of Ronquières.'

Another new feature is the ‘Bâbord Club’ stage, which is mostly dedicated to electronic music.

When the festival's gates open at 16:00 on Friday and 12:00 on Saturday and Sunday, festival-goers will be treated to performances by Belgian artists such as Todiefor, Moji X Sboy, Saskia and Deus, as well as British band Snow Patrol.
