The elderly population of the city of Brussels have all been invited on Monday 15 August to the Summer Ball, which will take place from 2pm to 8pm in the Vaux-Hall, located in the Brussels park, behind the Théâtre du Parc.
The ball will commence with an hour and a half of dancing and entertainment. At 4pm, a tribute will be paid to Johnny Hallyday by his look-alike Jo Davidson and band.
Finally, a giant karaoke is scheduled from 6pm to 8pm with DJ David Sound on the decks.
In light of the high temperatures, there will be shaded seating areas and access to plenty of drinking water.
The event is accessible to people with reduced mobility, says the city. Drinks and sweet and savoury nibbles will be available at democratic prices.
