From 22:00 on Saturday until 06:00 on Sunday, the Brussels Ring Road in Zaventem will be closed to traffic, to enable the safe installation of the first section of a new bridge on Avenue Hector Henneau.

The capacity of the Brussels Ring in Zaventem is likely to be reduced from 18:00 on Saturday until 22:00, when it will be totally closed to traffic. The road will likely remain closed until 09:00 on Sunday morning due to a planned reinstallation of the bridge's lights.

As a result, diversion routes will be established between the Zaventem junction on the A201 motorway, which connects Brussels Airport to the municipality Evere, and the Woluwé-Saint-Etienne interchange with the E40 motorway.

According to reports, the new bridge will be twice as wide as the existing one, with distinct lanes for cyclists, pedestrians, and buses.
