A teenager has seriously injured a youth worker in Liège.
The incident occurred at Maison heureuse, a residential service for troubled teens.
For unknown reasons, the youth attacked the staff member, leaving him with a significant injury.
On Saturday, the young offender was handed over to the Liège prosecutor’s office.
A magistrate has called for his confinement in a public institution for the protection of youth.
