Wallonia has launched a new vaccination campaign to combat COVID-19.
The campaign primarily targets vulnerable individuals, according to the Walloon Agency for Quality of Life (AViQ).
The High Health Council strongly recommends vaccination for people over 65, residents of care homes, those with underlying health conditions, and healthcare workers.
The vaccines are offered free of charge via GPs, pharmacies, and home nurses.
Flanders began its vaccination campaign on 23 September, and vaccines have been available in Walloon pharmacies for some time, AViQ stated.
