At the request of the West Flanders Public Prosecutor’s Office, Dendermonde Division, and in collaboration with Child Focus, the police issued a search notice between Monday night and Tuesday morning for a 13-year-old girl reported missing earlier on Monday.
The teenager, Femke Van Puymbroeck, was last seen in Lokeren at noon and has not been heard from since.
Femke is of strong build, with blonde hair styled in a bun. She was wearing light blue skinny jeans and a blue hoodie featuring a 'Looney Tunes' logo on the front, along with her name in pink.
She was also wearing a black and grey scarf, a purple backpack, and a small white bag with the letter 'T' in blue.
Anyone with information on Femke’s disappearance is urged to contact Child Focus on 116 000.
