Confidence among Belgian entrepreneurs strengthened slightly in February, according to the latest National Bank of Belgium (BNB) business survey, released on Monday.
The overall synthetic curve registered at -12.3, compared to -13.6 in January. However, this figure remains well below the long-term average.
For the second consecutive month, business sentiment improved in the manufacturing sector, the BNB reported. In commerce, business leaders’ confidence rebounded following continuous declines since last November.
On the other hand, confidence deteriorated in business-related services and, for the second month in a row, in the construction sector.
